As part of Rollins College’s inaugural Dance Marathon event, Fern Creek Elementary School held it's very own mini marathon, “Dancing Like A Star,” Thursday, October 25th to benefit Greater Orlando Children's Miracle Network.  Students from every grade level paid $1 to stay on their feet and dance for half an hour at a time to support children at Shands Children’s Hospital at the University of Florida and Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children. Rollins students taught the children a special "morale" dance and spent time dancing and singing with the students as they stayed on their feet to support kids in the hospital.

Community partners Rollins College and Fern Creek Elementary School are working together in an effort to raise funds and awareness for Dance Marathon.  The First Annual Dance Marathon at RollinsCollege will take place in the CampusCenter on Saturday, November 10th from 2:00p.m.- 2:00a.m.
