Food Lion associates from stores across Volusia County visited Arnold Palmer Medical Center to kick off their annual football icon campaign to benefit Greater Orlando Children's Miracle Network.  Associates split in to two groups to tour Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children and Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women and Babies.  Each of the groups were able to see and learn about the new level one trauma center, PICU and NICU.  Other stops included the CMN-funded PICU ambulance, the "Miracle" playground and HEMOC. 

Food Lion stores will begin their football campaign this Sunday, September 30.  Associates will be selling football icons for $1 along with conducting numerous fundraising activities throughout the campaign period.  Footballs will be sold until Sunday, October 14.  I encourage you all to join Food Lion in supporting Children's Miracle Network by buying a balloon today!
